A Crayfisherman, a Lighthouse & Gin

Born on Western Australia’s windswept coast, 30 Knots is the creation of crayfisherman-turned-distiller Muz, whose life has long been shaped by the tides, the weather and the working waters of Geraldton.

The town’s iconic lighthouse inspired the custom bottle, while utilitarian labels, heavily textured paper and colours drawn from the Australian landscape reflect the region’s rugged character.

Even the typography is at the mercy of the weather, with hand-set letterforms and tasting notes seemingly swept across the labels by Geraldton’s relentless winds.
