A Carpenter Walks Into a Distillery

Carpenter by trade, Dylan built Parramatta Distilling Co. in Sydney’s west. At its heart sits a climate-controlled bond store measuring just 72 square metres, where the whisky matures in only two years. That modest footprint gave 72 Squared its name.

Dylan’s background on the tools gave the packaging its character. A bright yellow tape measure wraps around the bottle and closure, while a rugged hose clamp and bold, utilitarian typography borrow from the workshop rather than the traditional whisky cabinet.
