Pacific Coast Spirits
X Marks the Spot
Mangawhai’s coastline has never been short of stories. The schooner Daring lay hidden beneath shifting sands for more than 150 years. The Niagara sank offshore carrying hundreds of gold bars. Beyond the wrecks, islands and rocky outcrops have long been familiar navigation points for local fishermen and divers.
That rich seafaring history gives Pacific Coast Spirits its bearings. Each gin and rum takes its name from a local landmark, while illustrations of historic shipwrecks, nautical coordinates and a compass-inspired roundel connect the packaging to the coast. Two labels cross each bottle to form an unmistakable X, with Taranga Island at the heart of the design.
Part navigation chart, part treasure map. Entirely Mangawhai.
